information
functionality of the procedures
The SLA (stereolithography) 3D printing process uses a laser to cure liquid photopolymer resin, building a three-dimensional object layer by layer. First, the 3D model is loaded into a slicer program, which slices the model into thin layers. The resin is then poured into a flat layer, and the laser is directed at the surface to harden the resin where the object will be created. Once a layer has cured, the platform is lowered, and a new layer of resin is poured onto the hardened layer. This process is repeated layer by layer until the entire object is fully printed. The finished object is then removed from the resin and post-processed to achieve a smooth surface.
The DLP (Digital Light Processing) 3D printing process is similar to the SLA process, but it uses a digital projector to cure the photopolymer resin. The 3D model is loaded into a slicer program and divided into thin layers. A flat layer of resin is poured onto a platform, and the projector projects the pattern of the first layer onto the surface of the resin. The resin hardens in the exposed areas, while the unexposed resin remains liquid. This process is repeated for each layer until the entire object is printed. The finished object is then removed from the resin and post-processed to achieve a smooth surface.
The FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D printing process uses a nozzle to melt thermoplastic filament and build a three-dimensional object layer by layer. The 3D model is loaded into a slicer program and divided into thin layers. The nozzle moves along an axis and extrudes the molten filament onto the print bed to form the first layer. Once the first layer is complete, the platform lowers by one layer depth and the printer begins printing the next layer. This process is repeated layer by layer until the entire object is fully printed. The finished object is then removed from the printer and can be reworked if necessary.
